Have you ever wanted to create a piece of jewelry that is uniquely yours? Maybe you don't have the tools, skill or supplies. With our Custom Design service all you need is a little imagination, and that custom piece can be all yours. Your input can range from just a tweak to a complete design. Perhaps you found a piece you like on our site but need it in a different color, or a different metal. Maybe you just need it to be a little longer or shorter. Perhaps you want us to make a pair of coordinating earrings for one of our other pieces. Maybe you aren't the earthy type, and want to replace gemstones with crystals. Or you have an idea for a completely new piece. One of the advantages of making every piece by hand is that we have the flexibility to create something entirely unique, just for you.
How Does it Work?
It's simple! You just contact us and tell us what you want. You can refer to a design on our site, or send a sketch or photo of what you have in mind. Let us know how we can personalize it for you! After you submit your request, we will work with you to create a design to accommodate your request, based on available materials and techniques. After evaluating your design, we'll give you a quote, based upon the design.
What's the next step?
After you approve the quote, we will set to work creating your piece. When it's ready, we will send a photo of the piece to you for final approval. If at this stage, you approve the piece, then you will purchase it, and we will ship it to you.
What if I change my mind?
If we complete the piece and you decide you don't want it, you are under no obligation to purchase it. If you decide you don't want it, it will be placed for sale with the rest of our jewelry. You are under no obligation to purchase, but you also will hold no rights to the piece if you choose not to purchase it.
Exceptions
While we will make every attempt to help with all designs, all requests will be evaluated for availability of materials, tools and technical ability required, If we cannot locate materials or are unable to create your requested piece, we will let you know. Also, we are only able to use common materials and metals, and reserve the right to use in-stock materials. In some cases, we might be able to work with semi-precious materials, such as sterling silver wire, but only with a deposit of 50% of the quoted price, if special materials must be ordered.
How do I get started?
Contact us with the following information:
- The type of metal, in the case of a wire wrapped piece
- The type of stone, crystal, bead or gem, including color choices
- The approximate finished size/length.
- Your contact information
- Any special details to make it yours!
We may ask you to provide a photo, sketch or description, or you can reference another piece on our site.
